Alegria provides a residential care facility for the chronically ill, while also caring for younger family members through its after-schooling program; all of which is combined with the long term support of permanent housing.
The Salvation Army takes this holistic approach to the HIV/AIDS crisis in recognition of the fact that services are not only essential for those affected by HIV/AIDS, but also for their loved ones: children, parents, spouses, and companions.
